Special Services Squadron World Cruise 1923-1924 Photo Gallery

These photographs are from the album of 18-year-old sailor, Albert Edward Scott, who sailed on HMS Repulse as part of the Royal Navy’s Special Services Squadron in 1923-1924. Seven ships, including HMS Hood, four light cruisers and an Australian light cruiser, visited over 40 ports of call in countries of the British Empire which fought with Britain in the first World War. The pictures are used with kind permission of his grandson, Stephen Locks.
